I love the jewelry organizer at 4:59. This is exactly what I need so that I can access the few pieces that I might where if they weren't at the bottom of a plastic bin where most of my other belongings live.

Jeune , j'ai dû déménager souvent, me coupant de mes racines, devant me réadapter sans cesse.

Connie, thank you so much for sharing with us! It is wonderful to hear your story and to meet your husband. You have both been our inspiration and we are taking it a month at a time. We sold our family home in March, sold 85% of our stuff, donated and gave furniture to our three kids’ homes. We love apartment life now, after 36 years of owning 3 different homes, and your encouragement helped so much! Baby steps for us… and it is wonderful as we plan more travel and still have plenty of family and grandchild time❤now. This is for now and we love now! It is so nice to find a like minded “tribe” on your channel. All the best always! Love your content.

Here is what I’m going to say :-) I am a hairstylist for 20 years. Just to get my license was 1500 of training let alone countless hours in the Salon of training & showing up for people. One of the things that we bring as hairstylists is not only expertise but it’s like getting a FREE counseling session as well. I think that it’s great if you can do a decent haircut yourself, but I end up fixing a lot of peoples own work. Just like any other career, I think a good hairstylist is worth our weight in gold! Cheers to self care!❤❤❤

I always think of the phrase: wherever you go, there you are! We take ourselves with us with all our flaws & good sides. I imagine living like this requires a certain amount of flexibility & patience! I would love to learn how you choose an air BNB? Do you require a certain amount of space so that you can both work? Or does one of you go work in a coffee shop or library? How much space do you need so you don’t drive each other crazy.

I love to travel and plan to do more when i leave my career in six months and do project consulting gigs in place of that. As much as i do love travel, I also value having a bolt hole. I know that i need a place to come back to. I am currently renting but will buy a small condo in a good location that will serve as my home base. I think anything we do full time becomes, just life. Travel is special because it’s outside our day-to-day life but i know for me, if it was just my whole life, I wouldn’t get the same shot in the arm I get from it being something i do to take me out of my routine. Thank you for sharing your journey. I love this channel!

Hi Connie. I live in Utah and finally, this summer, made it a practice to call friends and arrange a big hike in the Uintahs every Thursday. Plan on changing to snowshoes when the time comes. Getting up there in that majestic wilderness once a week has definitely made my life richer! There are all kinds of wealth! Glad to see you’re back (or maybe that’s older footage). Thanks for the inspiration as always!

My Mum used to make all our clothes, she taught herself to sew, and we were always well dressed. She used to make the most amazing chocolate cake, scones and Christmas cakes etc from scratch 😊 She was thrifty, but not mean and she got us through a lot of hard times financially by doing this. My generation didn’t need to do these things really and a lot of skills and thrifty ways were lost to me because I hadn’t really put much effort into remembering them. However when I married and had my own family and we were trying to get established, I resurrected a lot of the ideas and advice that my Mum had told me ( except the sewing as I hate it !! 😂) I was amazed at how fulfilled I felt following this way of thinking and even now when we don’t need to I will often revert back to these ways.
